About the Role

As an Electrical Service Engineer within NOV’s UK Aftermarket Service team, you will support the service, repair, inspection, installation and commissioning of NOV equipment at offshore and onshore customer locations worldwide.

This is a home-based role within mainland UK with extensive international travel on an ad-hoc basis. You will use your electrical maintenance and controls expertise to diagnose faults across electrical and control systems, including PLC and computer-controlled systems, AC and DC power systems and variable frequency drives (VFDs).

Depending on the work scope, you may work independently at customer locations or alongside mechanical and other Service Engineers as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role is highly customer-facing and requires a strong commitment to safety, quality and professional customer service.

Why This Role Matters

Reliable electrical and control systems are critical to the safe and efficient operation of customer equipment. By diagnosing faults, resolving technical issues and supporting installation, commissioning and maintenance activities, you will help customers minimise downtime and maintain operational performance.

Your technical expertise, flexibility and ability to respond to changing customer requirements will directly support the quality and reliability of NOV’s global Aftermarket Service operations.
