Eligibility Specialist - Call Center

Automated Health Systems is seeking an Eligibility Specialist to support the Wyoming Medicaid Customer Service Center Project. This position is remote but will require you to pick up at our location in Cheyenne, WY. Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Employee wellness program Training and career growth opportunities Responsibilities Process eligibility applications and resolve applicant/member issues Complete outreach and follow-up activities Document interactions in state and project systems Triage calls to the appropriate agency or business unit Provide respectful, confidential, high-quality customer service Stay current on Wyoming Medicaid policies and procedures Assist with assigned projects and related duties Qualifications Associate degree in Human Services or related field preferred, or equivalent experience 2+ years of customer service or healthcare industry experience required Human services experience preferred Knowledge of Medicaid and Wyoming Department of Health policies preferred Strong communication, computer, and conflict resolution skills Bilingual skills are a plus Work Environment Office environment with light physical activity, including occasional lifting, bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling.
