About the Role
Ready to help guitarists everywhere discover and experience better strings? ELIXIR Strings is seeking a Customer Success Partner – eCommerce Americas to accelerate profitable growth across Amazon, marketplaces, pure-play eCommerce, specialty music retailers, and omnichannel partners. In this role, you’ll own the growth agenda across key digital customers in the United States while helping expand our eCommerce business across Canada and Latin America. You’ll turn strategy into action—strengthening customer partnerships, improving the digital shelf, identifying opportunities in the data, and mobilizing teams to deliver measurable results.
We’re looking for an eCommerce leader who understands that winning online requires much more than managing an account. You see how search, content, merchandising, pricing, promotions, reviews, availability, retail media, conversion, analytics, and emerging AI-powered shopping experiences work together to influence what consumers discover, consider, and ultimately purchase. You combine commercial instincts with analytical problem-solving and practical execution, and you enjoy working collaboratively using LEAN principles to identify opportunities, simplify what matters most, and continuously improve performance.
Your leadership and influence will be critical to expanding ELIXIR’s digital footprint, deepening partnerships with key eCommerce customers, building repeatable growth playbooks, and positioning ELIXIR to win as digital commerce continues to evolve. If you’re energized by eCommerce, data, technology, consumer behavior, marketplaces, and growth—and you have a genuine passion for music—join us in shaping the next generation of ELIXIR Strings, a W.L. Gore & Associates business.
This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States. Candidates located within driving distance of Amazon in the Seattle area preferred.
Pay and Benefits:
- $137,000 - $164,000 per year
- Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.
- Factors considered in extending an offer within this pay range include (but not limited to) education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Medical, Dental and Vision benefits effective on Day 1 of employment! We offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including competitive benefits. More details are available at www.gore.com/careers/benefits
Responsibilities
- Own revenue, profitability, market share, and growth across assigned eCommerce platforms and strategic retail partners. Develop annual and quarterly growth plans and joint business plans focused on assortment, launches, pricing, promotions, visibility, conversion, and marketplace expansion.
- Build deep strategic relationships with key digital customers—including Amazon, specialty music retailers, marketplaces, pure-play eCommerce, and omnichannel partners—to understand customer priorities, identify barriers to growth, and position ELIXIR as a strategic growth partner rather than simply a supplier.
- Win the digital shelf by optimizing product content, imagery, assortment, search visibility, ratings and reviews, pricing, and availability. Establish retail-readiness standards and ensure new products are eCommerce-ready from launch.
- Turn data into action by analyzing sales, traffic, conversion, search, market share, pricing, inventory, advertising, and profitability. Develop dashboards and scorecards, identify growth opportunities, and use insights to continuously optimize business plans and performance.
- Develop a test-and-learn approach across content, pricing, promotions, search, retail media, and digital merchandising. Define and monitor key performance indicators and take action to improve revenue, profitability, visibility, conversion, availability, and return on investment.
- Lead the next generation of eCommerce by evaluating AI-powered search, shopping assistants, conversational commerce, personalization, and recommendation engines. Implement practical AI tools that improve product discovery, content, analytics, customer experience, and conversion.
- Partner across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and DTC/eCommerce Operations to remove barriers to growth, improve forecasting and inventory health, and maximize retail media, sponsored search, promotions, and digital activation.
- Accelerate eCommerce growth across Canada and Latin America by adapting successful U.S. strategies and developing repeatable playbooks for marketplace growth, product launches, digital shelf execution, retail media, and AI-enabled commerce.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority, aligning teams around customer needs, commercial priorities, and measurable outcomes. Champion continuous improvement through the Gore Business System, daily management, kaizen, and structured problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in eCommerce, marketplace management, digital sales, digital merchandising, or related commercial roles, with a track record of growing businesses through digital channels.
- Demonstrated success working with Amazon, marketplaces, specialty retailers, omnichannel retailers, or pure-play eCommerce, with a strong understanding of how digital commerce businesses operate and grow.
- Strong knowledge of digital shelf execution, search, conversion, content, pricing, promotions, retail media, inventory, and profitability, with the ability to connect these elements to customer behavior and commercial results.
- Proven analytical and business intelligence capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights, prioritized actions, and measurable business outcomes.
- Experience developing customer business plans, growth strategies, joint business plans, and initiatives that deliver top-line and profitable growth.
- Experience with retail media, sponsored search, marketplace advertising, digital acquisition, or other tools used to drive online demand and conversion.
- Strong commercial judgment, financial acumen, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and effectively engage senior external partners and cross-functional leaders.
- Proven ability to lead through influence, mobilize cross-functional teams, and translate customer needs and market insights into practical strategies and execution.
- Curiosity and practical experience with AI tools and emerging eCommerce technologies, with the ability to evaluate new capabilities and translate them into meaningful commercial opportunities.
- Self-motivated with a high level of ownership, entrepreneurial spirit, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and bias toward action. Passion for music and an understanding of the guitar category are highly valued.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, eCommerce, or a related field; experience driving growth using continuous improvement tools, including Strategy Deployment, Daily Management, Kaizen, and problem solving.
- Experience working with music retailers or digital partners such as Amazon, Sweetwater, Guitar Center, Musician’s Friend, Reverb, or similar businesses, and experience in music, sporting goods, consumer electronics, hobby products, specialty retail, or other passion-driven consumer categories.
- Experience growing eCommerce businesses across Canada and Latin America.
