Email Operations Manager
Short Summary:
This role provides backend support to senior strategists, essentially acting as a project manager to ensure tracking and delivery of operational items and alignment with strategic vision from the senior.
What you’ll do:
- Track delivery of all items related to email (copy, design, Klaviyo set up) and assist the QA process
- Write copy for brands that you work with while also making revisions, aligning on their brand & brand voice, and make edits within figma to push for approvals
- Liaise with internal team members on said deliverables to track progress & keep projects always moving forward & on track
- Provide progress reporting to the senior strategist and clients on a regular basis
- Ensure compliance with SOPs in all stages of email development

Email Operations Managers at Well Copy act as a vital support link between senior strategists managing around 8-14 ecom brands and their operational pods. Core Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Tracking of all assigned deliverables across all three verticals (Klaviyo development, copy, design) from brief to delivery for senior strategists
Quality Assurance
- Reviewing all said deliverables and acting as the first point in a thorough process of quality assurance to guarantee top level deliverables
Strategic coordination
- Communicate directly with the senior strategist & occasionally clients to ensure alignment between briefs and overall strategy with the output from the pods.
Compliance
- Generally insuring compliance with internal standards of work plus regulatory standards when applicable
Requirements
- A background in Project Management within a marketing agency setting, with email marketing being strongly preferred.
- Experience inside of Klaviyo as an end user or as a contributor.
- Preferred: exposure to copywriting/design in an email marketing setting.
- Project management certs are a big plus.
