Job Summary : We are seeking a talented and experienced Embedded Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing embedded software solutions for our cutting-edge computing hardware products. Responsibilities : Design and develop embedded software for microcontrollers, system-on-chips (SoCs), and other embedded systems used in our computing hardware products. Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components. Optimize embedded software for performance, power efficiency, and real-time responsiveness. Implement low-level drivers, firmware, and bootloaders for various embedded platforms. Develop and maintain board support packages (BSPs) and software development kits (SDKs) for our embedded systems. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and industry regulations. Participate in the testing and debugging of embedded software, including unit testing, integration testing, and system-level testing. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in embedded systems, microcontrollers, and computing hardware. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior embedded engineers. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Proven experience in developing embedded software for microcontrollers, SoCs, and other embedded systems. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and assembly language. Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software development tools (e.g., compilers, debuggers, IDEs). Familiarity with embedded communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, USB) and peripheral interfaces. Experience with embedded software development methodologies, including version control, continuous integration, and testing frameworks. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex embedded systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of computing hardware architectures, digital electronics, and embedded systems design is a plus.
