Embedded Software Engineer

FREELANCE EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER – MUNICH – 12 MONTHS+

My client working in the aerospace and defence industry are currently searching for up to 4 experienced embedded software engineers to join their project for a minimum of 12 months.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of new features allowing for new autonomous software to be integrated and function on existing components
• Support any gaps in test infrastructure for HIL
• Support with any additional bug fixing and support issues received from customers

Required experience:

• Must be experienced in projects using both RTOS and Linux systems
• Expert with programming in both C and C++
• Good knowledge of Python for automation and testing
• Ideally experience working in a regulated industry (aerospace, defence, medical devices, automotive…)
• Previous experience on projects integrating data visualization and acquisition tools onto hardware products is a strong bonus
• Must be fluent English speaking and able to work on-site in Munich 3 days per week
• Must be a registered freelancer or invoice from a single-person company based in DE
