Role Description The Embroidery Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating embroidery patterns for a variety of textile and fashion products, including garments and accessories. Day-to-day tasks include sketching designs, developing digital or hand-drawn embroidery layouts, selecting color palettes, and aligning designs with seasonal collections and brand guidelines.

The role also involves collaborating with the production team to ensure designs are technically feasible, reviewing samples, and making adjustments to optimize aesthetics and quality.

This is a full-time remote role, requiring regular communication with design and production teams through digital collaboration tools and adherence to project timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in embroidery design (hand and/or digital), pattern creation, and color coordination for textiles.
• Competence with design software commonly used in fashion or embroidery (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or embroidery-specific CAD tools).
• Knowledge of fabrics, threads, and textile techniques, including an understanding of how designs translate from concept to production.
• Attention to detail in layout, symmetry, and finishing, with the ability to review samples and provide precise design adjustments.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working remotely with cross-functional teams.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple design projects and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in fashion or textile design, particularly in embroidery, is highly beneficial.
• Relevant education in fashion design, textile design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
