About Job The Payroll Specialist (EMEA) will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless payroll operations across the Europe region. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements. Key to success in this role will be the ability to balance competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and adapt to changing regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to articulate complex payroll concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Skills & Qualification Skills & Qualification Deep understanding of payroll legislation and regulations across EMEA countries Excellent knowledge of payroll systems and software, including ADP, Workday, or similar platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and reports Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, management, and external partners Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy Responsibilities Manage and oversee payroll operations across EMEA countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and maintaining accurate and timely payroll processing Develop and implement payroll processes and procedures, ensuring consistency and quality across the region Provide guidance and support to junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence and knowledge-sharing within the team Collaborate with external partners, including auditors and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and address any payroll-related queries or concerns Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, working closely with internal stakeholders to address any issues or concerns Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including payroll data, employee information, and regulatory documentation Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure payroll processes are accurate, compliant, and efficient Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, improving efficiency and reducing payroll-related costs Locations preferred: Switzerland, Denmark, Poland, Ireland, Netherlands
