Emerging Leaders Program Internship 2027-2028 (Waitlist)

If you would like to be considered, please apply here, but application review and interviews will not begin until Summer 2027. This part-time paid role is responsible for attending weekly meetings and completing weekly assignments related to Servant Leadership, Professional Development, Constitutional Training, Western Civilization, Statesmanship, and other topics. Additionally, this position will assist a member of the National Team and will complete weekly projects and assignments relating to the daily operations of Convention of States. An intern is expected to work 10-15 hours each week. Program Tracks Traditional Track 9-month internship Fully remote Fully paid position No college credit Accredited Track 9-month internship Fully remote Fully paid position 12 accredited college credit hours granted at end of academic year Requirements Complete weekly reading and writing assignments related to Servant Leadership, Professional Development, Western Civilization, Constitutional Training, Statesmanship, and other topics. Attend weekly ELP discussions and biweekly meetings. Complete assignments and projects for their department manager. Maintain clear and consistent communication with ELP coordinators and their department manager. Other duties as assigned. Skills & Experience Desire to be challenged and learn through iron sharpening group discussions. Display of humility and a desire to grow through personal and professional mentorship. Highly loyal and trustworthy with sensitive information. Strong, consistent, and clear communication skills. High self-governance and responsibility for completing tasks. Display of innovation and creativity. Ability to complete assignments and projects with quality and consistency. General proficiency with computer applications, e.g. Slack/Zulip, Trello, Zoom/Meetn, Google Suites, etc. Salary Description $10 - $17 / hour
