Employee Experience Coordinator

  • EA 11 38 Hours
  • $124,955.37 + Super
  • 1 Rostered Day Off (RDO) per month

Help create the moments and experiences that make a difference to our people.

Working within Sydney Water's Total Reward team, you'll help bring our employee experience programs to life, from celebrating achievements and career milestones to supporting employee benefits and improving the way our programs are delivered.

This is a varied, hands-on coordination role where you'll work across recognition, benefits, events, communications, data and reporting. You'll collaborate with teams across the business and external partners to ensure our employee programs are delivered seamlessly and create a positive experience for our people.

The role directly supports recognition and benefits programs and works with People & Culture, Communications and Events teams, business leaders and external partners.

About the role

  • Coordinate the delivery of Sydney Water's employee recognition programs, including Long Service Awards and annual employee recognition events.
  • Manage end-to-end program logistics, including communications, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination and event administration.
  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of employee benefits and employee experience initiatives.
  • Contribute to reporting and insights that help measure program success and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of employee communications promoting recognition, reward and employee benefits programs.
  • Monitor employee experience program inboxes and respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner.

About you

  • Experience in one or more of these areas would be highly regarded: administration, recognition and benefits, project coordination or a related field would be highly regarded - you don't need experience in all of these areas.
  • You enjoy working autonomously and take ownership of planning and organising your own work, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • You bring strong attention to detail and follow through to deliver accurate, high-quality outcomes.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and in conversation, and build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • You have experience coordinating events, employee programs or engagement initiatives, with a focus on a positive employee experience.
  • You bring curiosity, creativity and a practical approach to problem-solving, developing new ideas, employee offerings and better ways of working.
  • You're confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using HR systems and reporting tools would also be highly regarded.

Most importantly, you'll enjoy making things happen for people, whether that's celebrating an employee milestone, coordinating a major recognition event, improving a benefits process or simply making someone's experience easier.
