Job Title: Employee Experience Coordinator

Monthly Pay: $4,842 - $6,265 USD per month

Summary:

This role builds practical skills in employee engagement, onboarding coordination, survey research, and thoughtful follow-up. You organize employee experience activities that help new and existing employees find information, connect with colleagues, and navigate everyday workplace questions. The position sits within the HR team, works under an HR team lead, and partners with employees, managers, recruiters, and IT support. This is a fully remote, desk-based opportunity to work from home in Washington, United States. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review incoming employee emails and shared requests, identify the topic and urgency, and organize next steps using established team procedures.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities after recruiters confirm a new starter, checking manager availability, orientation requirements, and outstanding preparation tasks before arranging introductions.
  • Use an HR system such as Workday to check employee details, update permitted onboarding milestones, and record clear progress notes for the HR team.
  • Arrange virtual orientations and employee check-ins through a scheduling and calendar tool such as Google Calendar, confirming invitations, participants, and meeting information.
  • Coordinate assigned learning activities through a learning management system such as Cornerstone, sharing access guidance and checking completion status before sending reminders.
  • Answer routine questions about orientation activities, employee resources, and recognition programs using approved information, routing unfamiliar questions to the HR team lead.
  • Organize employee listening activities through a survey tool such as SurveyMonkey, distribute approved questionnaires, and summarize response themes without exposing individual feedback.
  • Maintain recognition activity calendars and participation trackers, coordinating manager input and checking that employee communications contain accurate dates and clear next steps.
  • Follow up on overdue actions with employees and managers, refer technical access issues to IT support, and escalate sensitive employee concerns to the HR team lead.
  • Review completed activities for accuracy, timely turnaround, complete notes, and documented follow-up, then share recurring obstacles and outstanding actions during team reviews.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • About 1-2 years of experience in HR coordination, onboarding support, or employee experience administration preferred.
  • Familiarity with employee onboarding stages, orientation planning, recognition activities, and respectful handling of private employee information.
  • Ability to navigate an HR system such as Workday and maintain accurate status updates within assigned permissions.
  • Comfort organizing invitations, tracking learning completion, and reviewing survey responses using the named scheduling, learning, and survey systems.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for answering employee questions, preparing meeting details, and explaining next steps without making unsupported commitments.
  • Ability to prioritize requests, coordinate handoffs across teams, and recognize when a question needs guidance from the HR team lead.
  • A reliable computer, high-speed internet, and quiet private workspace, with availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Perks & Benefits:

  • Fully remote work from home in Washington, with responsibilities carried out through desk-based digital coordination.
  • Structured onboarding and training on an HR system such as Workday, a scheduling and calendar tool such as Google Calendar, a learning management system such as Cornerstone, and a survey tool such as SurveyMonkey.
  • Regular check-ins with the HR team lead to review priorities, clarify questions, and receive practical feedback.
  • Opportunities to build employee engagement, training coordination, survey research, and cross-team communication skills through everyday assignments.
