Employment Practice Specialist (REMOTE BUT MUST BE BASED IN NJ!)

Our client is looking for a remote - Temp to hire - Employment Practice Specialist to join their team!
** REMOTE BUT MUST LIVE IN NJ**

Hours: M-F 8AM - 5PM
Pay: $22 - $46 DOE

Responsibilities:

• Mediate workplace disputes between employees and management; conduct formal investigations into grievances and recommend resolutions.
• Coach managers and employees on performance management, disciplinary actions, communication, and interpersonal conflicts to ensure fair and consistent practices.
• Design and facilitate workshops for staff and leadership on conflict management, effective communication, and diversity awareness.
• Maintain current knowledge of employment laws to ensure organizational compliance and minimize litigation risks.
• Track employee relations cases, maintain detailed records of investigations, and analyze trend data to identify organizational areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience (1-3 years employee relations) in associate relations, HR, or related field, preferably in a large organization or corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of federal, state and local employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
