Employment Solicitor | Ellesmere Port | Specialist Employment Law Firm
£50,000 – £70,000+ DOE
An established specialist Employment Law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Employment Lawyer to join its growing team, offering an excellent opportunity to focus exclusively on employment law within a highly supportive and flexible working environment.
The firm comprises around 30 Employment Law advisers and lawyers, advising a strong portfolio of retained clients across the retail, health and social care, and hospitality sectors. Working predominantly on the respondent side (95%), the team supports national and global brands and regularly works alongside and against leading London law firms.
The culture is a real standout: straight-talking, commercial and proactive, while remaining genuinely friendly and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on shared success and building lasting client relationships.
The role will involve:
- Managing your own employment law caseload
- Advising predominantly respondent-side clients on a broad range of employment matters
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Providing commercially focused, pragmatic employment law advice
- Working with an established portfolio of retained clients across a range of sectors
The firm offers:
- Highly flexible hybrid working (just 1 day per week in the Ellesmere Port office)
- Competitive salary (£50,000 – £70,000+ DOE)
- A genuinely supportive, friendly and collaborative culture
- An output-focused working environment, rather than a clock-watching culture
- The opportunity to work with national and global brands
- Greater flexibility for some senior consultants, with even less office attendance required
This opportunity would suit an experienced Employment Solicitor who enjoys managing their own caseload, developing strong client relationships and working within a specialist employment practice that genuinely values flexibility, autonomy and collaboration.
