Compensation: $1,200-$1,600/mo depending on experience, plus healthcare and internet stipends About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven Energy Rebate Processing Specialist to prepare and submit clean energy incentive (rebate) applications for building contractors in the US. You will work closely with our Rebate Programs Lead, and engage with our customers: HVAC, water heating, and electrical contractors. This is a role for someone who thrives on consistency, enjoys a good task list, and takes pride in high-quality deliverables. You’ll be reviewing project documents, verifying eligibility, preparing and submitting applications, tracking submissions, and communicating status updates with contractors. This is a long-term role. Key Responsibilities You’ll own applications from pre-approval through submission and confirmation, ensuring fast turnaround times and approvals. Specific responsibilities include: Drive application queue : review documents and data to validate eligibility and confirm completeness, submit error-free application packages, and send status updates. Communicate with customers : request missing documents, clarify requirements, and provide guidance. Address issues quickly : diagnose issues and determine solutions – address independently, contact contractors, or escalate internally. Deliver excellent customer experience : prioritize accuracy, turnaround times, and throughput – all key to delivering an excellent customer experience. Ideal Candidate Profile Experience & Skills: 2+ years in the HVAC, plumbing, or electric trades, working on the administration/operations side, with a basic understanding of equipment. 1+ experience working directly with energy incentives or related programs strongly preferred. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) and other common software platforms is required. Strong written and verbal English – capable of writing professional emails with correct grammar, and fully comfortable speaking with teammates or customers on a call. Prior experience in a fast-paced work environment, like a scaling organization or startup. Work Ethic & Traits: Detail-oriented and organized: you’re highly organized, keep track of tasks, and always take notes. Comfortable doing high-volume computer work—perfect for someone who enjoys clear routines and predictable execution. Driven and focused: ability to tune out the noise and crank through the to do list. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and autonomously, with support from the team as needed. Willingness to work at least 5 hours of overlap with the US Pacific Time Zone (San Francisco, CA). Technical Setup: Personal computer (2020 or newer) with minimum specs: Intel i5/Ryzen 5, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, or Mac 2018 or newer Hardwired primary internet + cellular backup (minimum +10 Mbps, <20 ms ping). External monitor required. Familiar with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) and PDF editing (Adobe/Preview). All software licenses will be provided. Employment Details Employment Arrangement : You will be hired as an independent contractor, paid directly by Resolv (rather than a third-party). This is a full-time role (40 hours per week). Compensation : $1,200-$1,600 per month, depending on experience. Payments will be issued biweekly. We cover the cost of currency conversion. Other Benefits : Monthly stipends of $60 for healthcare and $40 for internet. Holidays : You will have the same holidays off as we do, following the US holiday schedule.
