Introduction

We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist, Auxiliary Upgrades, to join our Mining Segment CSP business team in the Services business area. In this role, you will drive growth in auxiliary equipment upgrade solutions by helping customers improve equipment reliability, extend asset life, and enhance operational performance through modernization programs across the installed base.

You will report to the VP, Minerals Segment, CSP, and the role location is Sorocaba, Brazil, with a hybrid working model available. Travel of up to 40% may be required.

Team you will belong to

You will join the Mining Segment CSP business team, which focuses on developing and promoting upgrade solutions for crushers and associated mining equipment. The team supports customers throughout the lifecycle of their assets by identifying modernization opportunities and delivering value-added aftermarket solutions.

The team collaborates closely with Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Market Areas, distributors, and customers. Team members are based globally, supporting customer engagement and business development across multiple regions.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and develop auxiliary equipment upgrade opportunities across the global installed base.
  • Drive sales growth for lubrication systems, hydraulic power units, cylinders, accumulators, filtration systems, piping systems, and related auxiliary products.
  • Support customers, distributors, and Market Areas with product selection, upgrade recommendations, and technical-commercial proposals.
  • Develop business cases and value propositions that demonstrate reliability, safety, productivity, and maintenance benefits.
  • Analyze installed-base data to identify obsolete or aging auxiliary systems and modernization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Market Areas to develop standardized upgrade packages.
  • Support quotation development, technical reviews, pricing recommendations, commercial discussions, and customer presentations.
  • Monitor project execution, customer satisfaction, sales forecasting activities, and provide market feedback to support future product development.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong experience in mining, aftermarket services, modernization programs, upgrade projects, retrofit projects, or related industrial environments.
  • Solid knowledge of hydraulic and lubrication systems, with the ability to recommend solutions that improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Experience developing technical and commercial proposals and translating customer needs into practical upgrade solutions.
  • Strong business development capabilities with the ability to identify opportunities and communicate customer value effectively.
  • Knowledge of mining equipment maintenance and reliability principles.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and equipment documentation.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across global cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Bachelor's degree or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience with lubrication systems, hydraulic systems, cylinders, or other auxiliary equipment.
  • Field service or workshop experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Mechanical systems knowledge.
  • Additional language skills.
