About the role:

As an Artificial Intelligence & Innovation Robotics Engineer Catalyst Program you will support our growing business, develop leadership, display aspects of being a corporate steward and identify future career interests.

Westinghouse's AI & Innovation team is hiring for the Catalyst Program, a program designed to showcase potential leaders to multiple teams with growing responsibility.

You will rotate through several departments at Westinghouse, such as:

• Artificial Intelligence & Innovation (Robotics) in Etna, PA

• Tecnatom (Madrid, Spain)

• WesDyne (Vasteras, Sweden)

You will report to the Senior Staff Application Security Architect and work a hybrid/mobile role based in Cranberry, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Through a series of rotations, lead project deliver value across multiple departments or global locations. You achieve this achievement through their planning, communication, and teamwork. Meanwhile, gain hands-on experience and develop an understanding of different departments.
  • For each rotation/department, develop an understanding of the strategic direction of the department and the business environment and evaluate how business strategies align with the direction of the business.
  • Identify areas of improvement and use data analysis skills to propose solutions to enhance the efficiency of each rotational department.
  • Develop a foundation of leadership
  • Integrate hardware and software to create customized solutions for internal manufacturing and supporting the operating fleet of reactors.
  • Collaborate across Westinghouse, bringing AI&I technological know-how to diverse teams to deliver strategic value and ensure digital transformation across projects.

Program Completion and Career Path:

Upon successful completion of the two-year Catalyst rotational program, the participant will transition into a permanent position on the AI&I Robotics team. This ensures that we use the experience gained through rotations to bring strategic impact and long-term career growth.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Robotics, Automation Engineer, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 0+ years expereince
  • Above average academic performance noted on resume
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, clearly defined on resume.
  • Flexibility to relocate based on the job rotations, potentially including out-of-country destinations
  • Business-oriented mindset to connect technological capabilities with strategic goals and operational needs across the organization.
  • Enthusiasm for delivering Innovation and Quality across Westinghouse technological solutions.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $80,000 to $85,000 per year.
