Our Head Office is based in Stockton-on-Tees and is home to our administrative support teams, engineering & maintenance support team & energy services teams. The Offices are located on the river Tees with close access to walks, shops and restaurants.

The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for a Senior Systems & Cyber Engineer. This is a key role, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant operations, through effective delivery of Systems, Networking & Cyber engineering standards and deliverables across px operated sites, effectively ensuring compliance, integrity and reliability is maintained.

You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring systems, networks & cyber engineering support and guidance to the engineering, maintenance and operations teams across the px portfolio.
Supporting the Implementation of strategies for systems, networks & cyber security within the group.
Providing tactical advice to the sites pertaining to cyber security, management of control systems and engineering systems management.
Managing, emergent work and longer-term planned engineering issues across the px portfolio.
Support the NIS Responsible Officer (NRO) in his duties.
Support Cyber Assessment Frameworks (CAF) submissions to the UK regulatory authorities for Critical National Infrastructure.
Support asset lifecycle management ensuring compliance with industry standards, corporate and site policies and procedures.
Lead and manage small projects, via the Management of Change process from conceptual design through to completions, including management of budget, resourcing requirements and following site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • HND or Degree in Systems, Cyber, Electrical and/or Instrumentation (Or similar) Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Demonstratable experience of successful contribution in a 24/7 industrial environment in which, COMAH experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work cross functionally, individually and in a team delivering policies, initiatives and compliance to meet business requirements.
  • Experience with developing, implementing and evaluating systems, upgrades, improvements and modifications.
  • Able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and contractors.
  • Understanding of Management of Change processes.
