Role Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Allianz Engineering Inspection Services as a Power Press Engineer Surveyor. As part of Allianz, one of the world's leading insurance and risk management organisations, you'll join a nationwide network of over 700 engineering inspection professionals, helping customers operate safely, manage risk and meet their legal obligations.

Whether you're already working within engineering inspection or have a qualification in a mechanical engineering-related discipline and are looking to apply your skills in a specialist inspection and compliance role, this position offers the opportunity to build a rewarding career within a respected and growing industry.

As a Power Press Engineer Surveyor, you'll visit a wide range of customer sites, carrying out thorough examinations of power presses, brake presses, injection moulding machinery, woodworking machinery and associated safety systems. Using your engineering knowledge and practical experience, you'll help customers manage risk, maintain safe operations and meet their legal obligations.

You'll assess equipment condition, safety-critical components and guarding systems, providing clear, professional reports and technical guidance. You'll also undertake specialist training in non-destructive testing techniques and carry out crack detection examinations on press components as part of your role.

Working independently across your allocated area, you'll manage your own inspection schedule and workload while building trusted relationships with customers. You'll also be supported by an experienced team of Engineer Surveyors and Team Leaders, with access to ongoing technical development and our industry-leading induction and training programme.
