Is this job info correct?

We're looking for an exceptional Engineering Manager with a strong engineering background to lead our engineering teams. You will focus on delivery and operational excellence while playing a pivotal role in shaping our engineering culture. Who are we? BIMcollab is an international SaaS platform helping architecture, engineering, and construction teams collaborate smarter and build better. Our solutions support over 150,000 professionals worldwide and integrate seamlessly with the most widely used BIM tools. The BIMcollab platform focuses on improving 3D model quality and project information management through two core solutions. Model Quality Assurance (MQA) helps teams validate and improve the quality of BIM models, while the Common Data Environment (CDE) brings project information together in a single, reliable source of truth. Together, they enable the creation and use of a Digital Twin that supports the full lifecycle of buildings and infrastructure, from design and construction to management and maintenance. By facilitating an integrated BIM workflow, we help teams deliver high-quality, energy-efficient, and circular buildings. We combine fast, user-friendly software with strong, service-oriented support, enabling our users to focus on what matters most: building better, together. About your role As an Engineering Manager, you will lead two to three engineering teams (8-12 people) and take full accountability for delivery and operational excellence. Your role focuses on the "who and when," ensuring that the right people are in place and projects are delivered on time and within scope. You will collaborate closely with the Lead Engineers, who are responsible for the "what and how," ensuring that the technical execution aligns with delivery timelines. With a strong engineering background, you’ll also actively contribute to planning sessions and roadmap execution. Additionally, you will partner with product management to align business priorities. Key responsibilities As an Engineering Manager, you will lead around two to three engineering teams. Your focus will be on building strong teams through recruitment, shaping clear plans, and taking full ownership of delivery. You work closely with Lead Engineers and together you keep projects moving forward efficiently and in the right technical direction. You will partner with Product Management to ensure engineering efforts are aligned with business goals. This means being actively involved in roadmap discussions, helping to set priorities, and making sure the teams focus on getting them done. From planning through to execution, you own the delivery process, supporting teams focussing and finishing and removing obstacles along the way, while working with the Lead Engineer to safeguard quality. Beyond delivery, you take responsibility for the operational side of things. This includes managing cloud costs, production operations, and team resources, with the aim of keeping systems reliable and delivery efficient. Your engineering background allows you to contribute meaningfully to roadmap planning and technical decision-making, ensuring product ambitions and technical realities stay aligned. You will continuously look for ways to improve how teams work by refining processes, systems, and operational practice, using learnings from day-to-day work to drive meaningful change. Finally, you care deeply about the people in your teams: supporting their wellbeing, coaching them when needed, helping them grow in their careers, preparing promotion cases, and taking care of the regular HR processes that come with leading teams. Our tech stack Backend: .NET, C#, C++, MS SQL Server. Frontend: Vue/React, TypeScript, Pinia, Tailwind, Headless UI. Tools: Azure DevOps, Figma, xUnit, Playwright. What will make you successful in this role Strong engineering background with proven experience in managing both technical delivery and operational responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with Lead Engineers, focusing on delivery ("who and when") while supporting technical decisions ("what and how"). Experience working alongside product management to align project roadmaps with business goals. Experience leading teams of 8-12 engineers, with a focus on performance and delivery. Operational expertise, including cloud infrastructure, cost management, and production systems. Strong decision-making skills with the ability to maintain a high-level overview across multiple projects, ensuring that initiatives are aligned with both immediate needs and long-term goals. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams. Experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and modern engineering processes is highly desirable. Our offer We offer a pivotal role within our organization where you can have a huge amount of impact. You work on an innovative platform that is used daily by the world’s largest building companies globally. We cherish continuous learning and improvement and take pride in our diverse and inclusive company culture. You can count on the following: A competitive compensation package. Annual profit sharing. 27 vacation days with an opportunity to buy additional days. Above-average secondary employment conditions: generous pension scheme and employee participation ensure a great involvement of the employees. Green benefits: compensation for all green home investments, electrification of the vehicle fleet and a bicycle scheme. Plenty of room for personal input, initiative and independence and good development and training opportunities with a yearly learning budget of 1500 EUR. Contemporary extras such as a catered joint lunch, always fresh fruit. You work from home if you want, with 2 days a week in our nearly energy-neutral work environment at the office, located in the centre of Eindhoven (walking distance from the Central Station). A monthly home office allowance. Opportunity to work fully remote up to 4 weeks a year! At KUBUS, we strive for an inclusive and diverse work environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of their background, gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or disability. We encourage applicants with diverse perspectives and backgrounds to apply and believe in equal opportunities for all. We value the unique contributions that each employee can make and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone is respected and appreciated.
