The company has partnered with Flexiple to hire an Engineering Manager for a mature team with existing processes, systems, and a multi-year product history. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.

Role Overview

As Engineering Manager, you will lead an established pod, continuing its delivery cadence while raising the bar on technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Hire, coach, and manage the growth of a team of 6 to 10 engineers
• Run performance reviews, career conversations, and calibration for direct reports
• Build a team culture that balances delivery speed with code quality

Delivery & Planning

• Own sprint planning and roadmap execution jointly with product management
• Remove blockers — technical, cross-team, or resourcing — before they slow delivery
• Report progress, risks, and hiring needs to engineering leadership

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 7 to 12 years in software engineering, including 2+ years directly managing engineers
• A track record of shipping production software before moving into management
• Comfortable balancing hands-on technical judgment with people management
• Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scaling a team through a headcount doubling or a major re-org
• Exposure to a modern engineering stack relevant to the company's domain
