After a successful transformation phase, we're entering a key new stage in 2026: acceleration.
Today, we're a solid, profitable, and growing European scale-up, proudly ranked in the French Tech 120, with a clear ambition: to become the go-to reference for local customer experience for multi-location businesses.
Our mission is simple: help businesses better manage their visibility, interactions, and local customer relationships through an all-in-one platform, built mobile-first and AI-first. Here, innovation is meaningful, impact is tangible, and success is built together.
Joining the adventure means contributing to an ambitious, sustainable project in the midst of international expansion.
TEAM 💚
You will join the Engineers department, made up of nearly 40 people organized in product-aligned teams. Together they design and build high-impact features, evolve a robust and scalable infrastructure, and turn product ideas into concrete solutions used every day by thousands of points of sale.
You will report directly to Stéphane, our CTO, and work in partnership with the Lead Product Manager of your scope.
MISSIONS 🔥
When someone searches for “pharmacy open now” or “best brunch near me”, on Google, Apple Maps, or more and more in ChatGPT and Gemini, the Visibility scope decides whether our customers show up and whether what people see is accurate. It covers listings management and sync to Google Business Profile, Apple, Bing and other publishers, as well as presence across search engines and AI assistants (SEO and GEO), for brands with hundreds or thousands of locations.
The problems to tackle: keeping syncs reliable and fast at large scale, keeping up with partner APIs that keep changing, and opening new visibility channels driven by AI.
You will lead around 12 engineers across 2 to 3 teams, including the Lead Engineers who own the technical direction of each team.
As the Engineering Manager of this scope, you will:
Build and grow the team. Own hiring for your teams end to end, from defining roles to closing candidates. Help each person grow using our career framework, give clear and direct feedback, and handle performance issues early and fairly.
Own delivery and outcomes. With your Lead Product Manager and designers, make sure the teams ship what matters, predictably. Raise risks and dependencies early, and come with trade-offs rather than surprises.
Keep systems healthy. Own on-call, incident response, blameless postmortems, reliability targets, and the cost of what your teams run.
Create the conditions for good technical decisions. Your Lead Engineers own technical direction. You make sure decisions are well framed, written down and connected to business priorities, and you step in when they cross team boundaries or carry high risk.
Shape the org. Decide with us how your teams are organized as the scope grows, when to split a team, and where to invest.
Make your teams AI-native. Lead by example with coding agents in your own work, help engineers use them well in coding, review, testing and operations, and measure what helps.
Be the bridge. Work with Customer Success, Sales and Support to understand what customers need, and explain engineering trade-offs to non-engineers.
You will ship code yourself, mostly with coding agents: bug fixes, investigations, prototypes and small improvements. Roadmap features stay with the team, so engineers keep ownership and room to grow. You will also stay close to the technical work through design reviews, code reviews and incident analysis.
OUR STACK 🛠️
Python (FastAPI), Celery workers, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, React/TypeScript. Platform on AWS.
You don't need to be the strongest Python engineer on the team, but you should be comfortable discussing architecture choices with the people who build it. If you have managed teams working in Go, Java, Node or Ruby, we'd like to talk.
EXPERIENCES & SKILLS 💼
You've directly managed engineers (typically 5 or more reports), including hiring and promotions
You were a senior engineer or tech lead before, and you can hold a credible architecture discussion about backend and distributed systems, even if you don't code day to day
You've worked in a product team alongside a Product Manager, and you care about customer outcomes, not just output
You write clearly in English: strategy docs, postmortems, feedback. We're an international team and French isn't required
You use AI coding agents in your daily work and have helped a team reinvent the SDLC
You build teams where people feel safe to disagree and want to stay
Nice to have: local search or SEO, maps or geodata, managing more than one team, Python.
Don't tick every box? Apply anyway. Many strong candidates hold back when they don't match every line of a job posting. We'd rather meet you and decide together.
