Engineering team lead (Remote)

We're looking for an engineering team lead for 4-10 engineers. This is the job for someone that can still be hands-on writing and reviewing code, yet has demonstrated ability to manage a team, hire and recruit people. This is a perfect opportunity for someone to grow into an engineering manager within a 12-month horizon. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams across the company. About you: You are excited about startups and new products. You enjoy building teams and systems from the ground up. You have experience recruiting world-class software engineers. You are passionate about good code design You care about building a great team culture and instilling the team with a strong sense of ownership and urgency. You enjoy mentoring and coaching engineers. You see yourself moving into management. You care about products that have massive economic impact and have interest in FinTech. What we look for: 2+ years of engineering management experience, with 4+ years as a full stack software engineer. Ability to prototype solutions and provide constructive code feedback Prior experience coaching and bringing the best out of a senior technical team. Ability to attract, hire, and coach world-class engineers. Strong and effective communication skills to convey complex ideas in a simple manner. BS (or higher) in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
