Role Descr</strong>iption The English Second Language Instructor is a part-time, remote role focused on delivering engaging online English lessons to learners of various ages and proficiency levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering interactive lessons, adapting teaching materials to learner needs, and using digital platforms to conduct live classes and assign practice activities. The instructor will monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance. Additional tasks may include participating in curriculum refinement, collaborating with academic staff to enhance learning outcomes, and supporting learners in achieving their personal, academic, or professional language goals.
Qualifications

Strong instructional skills in English Teaching, Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and general Teaching.
Ability to develop and adapt learning materials, including experience with Curriculum Development.
Knowledge of Linguistics and second language acquisition principles to inform effective teaching strategies.
Proficiency in using online teaching tools and learning management systems; comfortable with remote instruction.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills and the ability to work with diverse, international learners.
Relevant teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) and a bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
Prior experience teaching English as a second or foreign language in group or one-on-one settings is highly beneficial.
English level C1
