What you’ll be doing...

We use digital data as the fuel to propel us beyond our competition. As a Data Scientist, you’ll build analytical models to predict customer behavior or business events. You’ll then present your insights and recommendations to various business partners such as marketing, finance, or our customer relationship management group. Your work will help us meet our customers’ needs and make it even easier for them to do business with us.

• Analyzing data sets to find actionable insights.

• Advising business partners on the implications of your findings, and making recommendations.

• Maintaining databases and ensuring data quality.

• Promoting process improvement.

What we’re looking for...

You are driven to turn data into stories. Inquisitive and curious, you’re able to extract significant and useful information from massive piles of data, and present it to partners in a clear and compelling way.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, business analytics, or data science.

• Knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing, or statistical analysis methods.

• Experience with SQL or statistical software packages (like SAS, SPSS, or R).

• Experience with exploratory big data discovery using Teradata EDW, Aster, Tableau, or Hadoop.
