About Pathcore

Pathcore® is a remote-first biotech company specializing in whole slide digital pathology image management and workflow. We develop modern digital pathology software that helps laboratories, hospitals, and research institutions manage, view, and analyze whole-slide imaging data. Our platform supports the future of digital and computational pathology, and we're growing our commercial team to bring these solutions to enterprise customers across North America and beyond.

The Role

We're looking for an energetic and results-driven Enterprise Account Executive to join our growing sales team. In this B2B role, you'll play a key part in expanding Pathcore's footprint across academic institutions, research organizations, and pharmaceutical companies. You'll manage the full sales cycle - from prospecting through close - while partnering with technical and domain experts to deliver solutions that genuinely improve our customers' workflows and meaningfully contribute better outcomes in cancer research.

‍

This role suits someone early-to-mid in their sales career who combines hustle and professionalism, someone comfortable cold-calling, running discovery calls, navigating procurement, and building trusted relationships with pathologists, lab directors, and IT stakeholders. If you are eager to learn and grow, we’ll provide ample training and coaching to advance your career with the opportunity to own the full sales cycle within 12 months.

What You'll Do

  • Potential to own the full enterprise sales cycle for B2B accounts, from lead generation and qualification through demo, proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Prospect aggressively and creatively: outbound calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and industry events
  • Qualify inbound leads and develop outbound pipelines in target segments (CROs, pharma, research organizations)
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer pain points around digital pathology adoption, image management, and laboratory operations
  • Coordinate and deliver product demonstrations independently and alongside our technical/application specialist team
  • Develop strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers, including IT, lab management, and executive stakeholders
  • Manage pipeline in CRM, accurately forecast quarterly performance, and report on activity and progress
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing within approval guidelines, coordinating with legal and finance as needed
  • Stay current on digital pathology trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory/procurement considerations in healthcare sales
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, trade shows (e.g., pathology industry conferences), and lead-generation initiatives
  • Attend industry conferences and tradeshows to represent Pathcore and generate qualified leads
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue and activity targets

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (life sciences, computer science or engineering) or equivalent work experience
  • 1–3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, healthcare IT, laboratory software, medical devices, or life sciences
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable conducting product demos and technical conversations with non-technical buyers
  • Self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) and standard sales productivity software

‍

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with digital pathology, laboratory information systems (LIS), image analysis, or health IT
  • Experience selling into enterprise or academic accounts
  • Existing network within pathology, laboratory medicine, or life sciences communities
  • Experience with solution-selling or consultative sales methodologies

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Generous vacation and time off policies
  • Health and dental benefits
  • Remote work allowance
  • Professional development budget (certifications, conferences)
  • Flexible work schedule while being fully remote
  • Collaborative culture that values autonomy, learning, and impact
  • Hands-on experience with cutting-edge digital pathology and medical imaging
  • Clear growth paths into implementation, customer success, or product roles
