About Remote
Remote is building the infrastructure that makes global payroll and employment possible for everyone, everywhere. Our team is made up of people who want to own a piece of that work, not just contribute to it. That work happens across six continents, only Antarctica left to go, entirely remote. It also requires real fluency with AI in every role, not just familiarity with it.
Our standards are high, and the ownership is total. You'll have the trust and space to find your own way to the best answer, and the support to see it through, because that's how we build things that actually work at this scale. In return, your career grows faster, because at Remote, growth is tied to results. We're founded on the principle that where someone lives should never limit what they can achieve, and we operate exactly that way.
Job Description
About the role
Help ambitious companies build and pay teams around the world. Join Remote’s growing Workday Practice and turn a powerful partnership into new possibilities for enterprise customers.
As an Enterprise Account Executive, Workday Practice, you’ll win strategic enterprise accounts across the Americas, leading complex, high-value deals alongside Workday’s teams. Focused on Global Payroll and our broader international workforce solutions, you’ll engage executive decision-makers and turn their biggest workforce challenges into compelling business outcomes.
This senior, quota-carrying individual contributor role calls for exceptional sales acumen, executive credibility, and independent commercial judgment. You’ll own account strategy and revenue delivery, lead opportunities from discovery through close, and build Workday relationships and sales playbooks that scale the wider practice. If you love winning complex deals and building something new, this is your chance to do both.
What you bring
- Proven enterprise sales results. A sustained record of winning complex, high-value deals and delivering demanding revenue targets through your own strategy and execution.
- Exceptional sales acumen. Expertise in discovery, qualification, financial value selling, competitive strategy, champion development, and complex negotiation, including winning against inaction.
- Direct, quota-carrying Workday ecosystem experience. Success owning enterprise sales at Workday or alongside its teams in a partner role, with a strong understanding of its sales motion.
- Executive credibility. The business fluency to challenge assumptions and connect workforce decisions to strategic and financial priorities.
- Independent commercial judgment. Confidence setting strategy for ambiguous, high-stakes opportunities and making sound trade-offs without a prescribed playbook.
- Command of enterprise complexity. Experience aligning business units, geographies, technical stakeholders, and procurement around a clear buying plan.
- Impact beyond your quota. Evidence of building playbooks, strengthening co-selling, or coaching sellers to improve team-wide results.
Nice to have
- Workday field sales experience in HCM, Payroll, Workday GO, or related solutions.
- Global payroll or international workforce sales experience; familiarity with Workday Global Payroll Connect and implementation partners.
- Experience building an enterprise territory or repeatable partner-led sales motion in a growing SaaS company.
Key Responsibilities
- Own strategic enterprise accounts and revenue. Set territory and account strategy, build high-value pipeline, and lead complex opportunities from discovery through close to deliver your target.
- Create a compelling case for change. Lead rigorous discovery and qualification, build quantified business cases, and position Remote to win against competitors and the status quo.
- Win executive sponsorship. Engage C-suite leaders across HR, payroll, finance, and IT; develop champions and align complex buying groups around measurable outcomes.
- Drive Workday deal strategy. Build relationships with Workday sellers and leaders, set joint account priorities, and secure executive alignment for strategic pursuits.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations. Drive buying plans and commercial strategy with procurement, legal, and executives, protecting deal value and delivery commitments within Remote’s approval framework.
- Mobilize cross-functional deal teams. Lead Solutions Consulting, Product, Legal, Finance, and implementation experts through ambiguity, resolving risks and ensuring a strong customer handoff.
- Shape how we sell with Workday. Design and refine joint sales motions, create repeatable sales plays, partner with internal teams and COE peers to improve performance beyond your own accounts.
- Deliver a credible forecast. Maintain rigorous deal inspection and CRM discipline, using win/loss insights to influence sales strategy, enablement, and product priorities.
