About iCOUNTER
iCOUNTER is redefining how enterprises defend against cyber threats originating across their extended business ecosystems.
Our AI-native Counter Threat Operating System (CTOS™) combines threat intelligence, risk determination, and operational response to help organizations identify and act on threats involving third parties, subsidiaries, portfolio companies, and interconnected business relationships.
We believe enterprises need to move beyond traditional risk assessments and static security scores toward intelligence-led, proactive defense.
We’re building a new category of cybersecurity, and we’re looking for exceptional talent to help us bring it to market.
THE OPPORTUNITY
iCOUNTER is seeking a highly motivated, intellectually curious, and creative Enterprise Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us engage some of the world’s largest enterprises. This isn’t a traditional BDR position built around sending hundreds of generic emails.
We are looking for someone who understands that reaching enterprise cybersecurity executives requires research, relevance, creativity, and exceptional execution. You’ll combine account intelligence, AI-powered research, personalized content creation, and multichannel engagement to develop meaningful relationships with senior security decision-makers.
You’ll work closely with our marketing and enterprise sales teams to execute targeted account-based campaigns designed to convert high-value accounts into qualified sales opportunities.
While the role is remote, candidates must reside in Eastern Time zone, with preference to New York or Boston.
WHY iCOUNTER
Help build a category. We are challenging the traditional approach to third-party cyber risk with intelligence-led, operational cybersecurity.
Work at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise GTM. You’ll gain exposure to emerging security challenges and modern AI-powered go-to-market strategies.
Creativity matters. We value original thinking, strong research, and differentiated engagement over generic sales activity.
Engage enterprise leaders. You’ll help introduce a new approach to cybersecurity to some of the world’s most sophisticated organizations.
Make a measurable impact. As part of a growing startup, your contributions will directly influence pipeline, revenue, and market expansion.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Develop Deep Account Intelligence & Execute Strategic Prospecting
Research and prioritize enterprise accounts, map complex buying committees, identify meaningful security triggers, and translate insights into targeted engagement opportunities.
Monitor accounts for emerging threats and business changes that create relevance.
Create Compelling, Personalized Outreach
Go beyond templated prospecting, develop bespoke content that demonstrates genuine understanding of each target account’s cybersecurity landscape. This includes executive-level threat intelligence briefs, customized account summaries, personalized video messaging, and AI-assisted content that connects emerging threats to each enterprise’s business ecosystem.
You’ll build relationships through thoughtful, differentiated messaging that earns attention from CISOs and security leaders.
Execute Multichannel Enterprise Campaigns
Launch coordinated prospecting campaigns across email, LinkedIn, phone, video, and industry events.
Engage decision-makers at scale while maintaining personal relevance, developing strategic account penetration plans with enterprise account executives and converting qualified conversations into pipeline.
Leverage AI as a Competitive Advantage
Use generative AI and modern sales intelligence platforms to accelerate research, content development, and account activation, not just to write faster, but to uncover insights and identify high-probability opportunities others miss.
Build reputable, AI-assisted workflows that improve personalization and prospecting effectiveness. Experiment continuously and measure what actually drives executive engagement.
Partner Strategically with Sales & Marketing
Collaborate on account-based campaigns and industry-specific programs. Share battlefield intelligence about buyer objections, competitive positioning, and emerging threats to help refine messaging and strategy.
Support Executive events and webinars that advance strategic relationships.
