Job Description
The Enterprise PLC Project Manager will lead complex, cross-functional projects focused on Product Lifecycle (PLC) process excellence, PLC-related system and process changes, and enterprise product development improvements. This role will partner closely with business, product development, quality, regulatory, operations, IT, and change management stakeholders to drive disciplined execution, improve stage-gate readiness, and support adoption of new ways of working across Agilent.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing New Product Introduction / New Product Development (NPI/NPD) initiatives, understands product lifecycle governance, and has demonstrated success leading business process and change management projects in a global, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise PLC and PLC-related projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring clear scope, milestones, deliverables, risks, decisions, and success measures.
- Drive cross-functional planning and execution for projects impacting product development processes, phase-gate governance, templates, tools, metrics, training, and business readiness.
- Support NPI/NPD project excellence by strengthening project plans, stage-gate preparation, functional review readiness, risk management, and decision-quality documentation.
- Lead change management activities including stakeholder mapping, impact assessment, communications planning, readiness tracking, training coordination, feedback loops, and adoption reinforcement.
- Establish and maintain integrated project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, governance routines, status reporting, and executive-ready updates.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and help translate lessons learned into sustainable standards, playbooks, templates, and operating rhythms.
- Escalate issues and decisions appropriately, bringing data-driven recommendations and clear options to leadership forums.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, operations, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Direct experience leading NPI/NPD projects, including project planning, phase-gate readiness, risk management, and cross-functional execution.
- Experience leading change management projects, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, training/readiness coordination, and adoption tracking.
- Strong project management fundamentals, including schedule management, dependency management, risk/issue management, governance, and executive status reporting.
- Ability to influence without direct authority and work effectively across functions, divisions, regions, and leadership levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear, concise materials for project teams and senior leaders.
- Typically, at least 4+ years relevant experience for entry into this level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, product lifecycle processes, stage-gate governance, or enterprise product development operating models.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, or other relevant project/change management certification.
- Experience supporting global business transformation, process harmonization, or enterprise capability deployment.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
