The Enterprise Response team serves as a central coordination and execution function that supports incident response readiness, incident execution, operational governance, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement efforts across the enterprise.

As a Lead Business Execution Consultant supporting Enterprise Response, you will play a key role in strengthening Wells Fargo's enterprise response capabilities by coordinating cross-functional activities, advancing response frameworks, supporting incident operations, and driving preparedness initiatives. This role partners closely with regional incident managers, business groups, technology teams, resilience partners, and enterprise stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective response execution during both incident and non-incident periods.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong execution skills, strategic thinking, operational discipline, and the ability to influence across a complex, matrixed environment.

Successful candidates demonstrate strong program execution and project management capabilities, coupled with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and sound decision-making skills. They thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence, and effectively connect strategic objectives to day-to-day execution.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to surge capacity support during significant incidents or periods of elevated response activity.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise response operating models, frameworks, playbooks, and procedures.
  • Coordinate governance activities, reporting, metrics, and performance monitoring across enterprise response programs.
  • Lead workstreams and initiatives designed to strengthen incident management, escalation, and response capabilities.
  • Monitor program deliverables, dependencies, risks, and action items to ensure successful execution of strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate response readiness activities, exercises, simulations, tabletop events, and training programs.
  • Support development and maintenance of response documentation, job aids, procedures, and playbooks.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify readiness gaps and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with preparedness initiatives designed to increase organizational resilience and response effectiveness.
  • Develop executive-ready reports, presentations, dashboards, and briefing materials.
  • Translate complex information into clear, concise communications for leaders and stakeholders.
  • Support preparation of decision-support materials during incidents and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across business groups and enterprise functions.
  • Assist with stakeholder engagement efforts to support adoption of enterprise response processes and capabilities.
  • Support post-incident reviews and lessons learned activities.
  • Track remediation efforts and ensure identified improvements are incorporated into operating procedures and response frameworks.
  • Analyze trends, recurring issues, and operational data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Support initiatives that enhance organizational resilience, operational effectiveness, and response maturity.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deliver results.
