In this analytical and highly collaborative role, you will support the continuous improvement of our enterprise risk, compliance and assurance frameworks, systems and reporting, helping to drive informed decision-making, effective oversight and a strong risk culture across the organisation.
In this 2 year fixed-term position, you will be a trusted analyst and you will work closely with stakeholders to maintain high-quality risk and compliance data, monitor performance indicators, support assurance activities and provide meaningful insights into emerging risks and compliance obligations. This is an opportunity to build on your experience in risk, compliance, assurance or governance while contributing to initiatives that have a tangible impact across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support and enhance Sunwater’s Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) systems and processes.
- Maintain accurate and reliable risk, compliance and assurance data and reporting.
- Monitor risk and compliance performance, identifying issues, trends and potential breaches.
- Assist with assurance, compliance and control testing activities to assess effectiveness and outcomes.
- Partner with stakeholders to strengthen risk capability, improve framework maturity and promote a positive risk culture.
Our ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years’ experience in a risk, compliance, assurance, governance or related analytical role, supported by a degree in Business or a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience. You will have experience working with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platforms and possess strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving capabilities.
You will be highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working with complex datasets and business stakeholders. Experience supporting enterprise risk frameworks, compliance programs, assurance activities or control assessments will be highly regarded. Relevant certifications such as CPRM, CCRP, CRMA, CIA or Cert IV in Data Analytics will be advantageous.
This is a 2 year fixed-term opportunity, available for an immediate start and based at our Fortitude Valley office. We offer a competitive base salary, starting from $133,794, plus 12.75% superannuation, 17.5% leave loading, a standard 38-hour week and a flexible hybrid work arrangement. Combined with our strong commitment to work/life balance, you'll have the flexibility and support to thrive both professionally and personally.
