Show job description

SIRO was launched in 2015 as a joint venture between Vodafone and ESB. Our key mission is to build a nationwide 100% fibre broadband network – we commit to changing Ireland’s telecom landscape and delivering the fastest most innovative broadband experience to the Irish consumer. We are an award-winning employer with a very friendly and supportive corporate culture. The business offices are located at Carrickmines, Dublin and we offer a flexible hybrid work environment.

Enterprise is an important channel within SIRO’s Commercial Team. We work with retail and operator partners to bring SIRO Enterprise fibre products to business customers. We are looking for a curious, organised and highly motivated graduate to join the Enterprise team. This is a developmental role offering practical experience across enterprise operations, partner support, reporting, data analysis, service delivery, CRM, bids and commercial projects. You will work alongside experienced colleagues and receive guidance as you build your commercial, analytical and relationship-management capability.

Role Purpose
To support the Enterprise team in delivering a responsive and reliable service to SIRO’s partners. The role will coordinate information, maintain accurate systems and reports, track actions and orders, and help colleagues resolve partner queries. Over time, the graduate will build a strong understanding of SIRO’s enterprise products, processes and commercial operations and take on greater responsibility as capability develops.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner and service support

  • Support the Enterprise team with day-to-day partner presale and price queries.
  • Tracking and creating bids and quotations for partners.
  • Managing the commercial approval process for enterprise orders, involving appropriate stakeholders.
  • Prepare clear updates for colleagues and partners, escalating issues to the appropriate team member when required.
  • Build positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners through dependable follow-up and clear communication.

Reporting and data

  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports using available business systems and source files.
  • Check data for accuracy, investigate differences and highlight relevant trends or issues to the team.
  • Support teams on creation of reports to support business processes.
  • Present findings clearly using Excel, PowerPoint and short written summaries.

CRM, systems and administration

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including premises, eligibility, serviceability and order updates.
  • Raise and monitor tickets relating to new premises, eligibility changes and other commercial queries.
  • Maintain organised records, action logs and supporting documentation; and maintain ourEnterprise team document store.

Commercial and project support

  • Assist with bid documentation, commercial quotes and the preparation of information for business cases.
  • Coordinate order-related inputs from teams such as Finance, Build, Plan and Design, GIS, Operations, Legal, and Enterprise Delivery.
  • Contribute analysis and administration to commercial footprint expansion and other Enterprise projects.
  • Being proactive with suggestions on practical improvements to reports, processes, systems and ways of working.

Requirements:

  • A recent graduate, or someone at an early stage of their career, with a relevant qualification in business, commerce, analytics, economics, marketing, technology, project management or a related discipline.
  • Strong organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage actions and deadlines are the most important attributes for this role.
  • Confidence working with numbers and an interest in developing data-analysis skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain and present information clearly both internally and externally.
  • A customer-focused and collaborative approach.
  • Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn about telecoms, enterprise customers and SIRO’s commercial operations.
  • Comfortable with instructions, working independently and also part of a team.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with support available to develop more advanced capability. Excel skills in particular are important to this role and a short task will be given during the interview.
  • Ability to work independently on agreed tasks while knowing when to ask for guidance or escalate an issue.
  • Must attend the SIRO office a minimum of 2 days per week as per our hybrid working policy.

Preferred:

  • Work placement, internship, part-time or project experience in an office, customer service, commercial or analytical environment.
  • An interest in telecommunications, digital infrastructure or B2B services.
  • Exposure to CRM, ticketing, reporting or data-visualisation tools.
  • Experience preparing presentations, reports or analysis as part of a college or workplace project.
