Summary

The Enterprise Terafina Business Analyst supports strategic Terafina initiatives across digital account opening, onboarding, account maintenance, workflow enhancements, integrations, and enterprise operational improvements. This role leads business analysis activities for high-priority projects by defining business needs, eliciting and documenting requirements, analyzing processes and impacts, supporting solution decisions, and maintaining clear visibility into scope, risks, dependencies, decisions, and outcomes.

This position partners with cross-functional business, technology, risk, and vendor teams to ensure strategic Terafina projects are clearly defined and aligned with organizational objectives, regulatory expectations, and platform capabilities. The Business Analyst owns requirements definition, validation, and ongoing business alignment, while intake administration, cross-functional coordination, test management, and strategic roadmap administration are managed separately within the Enterprise Terafina team.

The ideal candidate is an analytical, highly organized, and collaborative problem-solver who can translate complex strategic needs into actionable business and functional requirements, facilitate decisions across multiple workstreams, identify impacts and gaps, and drive follow-through from discovery through implementation and post-release validation.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements discovery and business analysis for strategic Terafina projects by clarifying business objectives, defining problems and opportunities, identifying impacted capabilities and stakeholders, and establishing measurable outcomes and analysis plans.
  • Elicit, analyze, validate, and document enterprise business, functional, data, integration, workflow, control, and reporting requirements using meetings, workshops, process reviews, and other appropriate analysis techniques.
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear scope, current- and future-state processes, user stories or requirements, acceptance criteria, business rules, traceability, and implementation considerations that guide solution design and delivery.
  • Perform enterprise impact, gap, dependency, and risk analysis across Terafina capabilities, processes, integrations, controls, data, operating procedures, and customer or associate experiences; recommend options and mitigation considerations.
  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions and decision forums to align enterprise stakeholders on requirements, priorities, assumptions, tradeoffs, solution options, ownership, and next steps for strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain business analysis artifacts and requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring approved changes, decisions, dependencies, issues, and open questions are documented and communicated.
  • Partner with Enterprise Team, project managers, product owners, technology teams, developers, vendors, risk, compliance, and operations to evaluate solution feasibility, support planning, resolve requirement gaps, and keep strategic projects aligned to expected business outcomes.
  • Support testing and implementation readiness by defining acceptance criteria, coordinating business validation and UAT inputs, triaging LOB requirement-related defects, confirming stakeholder signoff, and partnering with Test Manager to ensure delivered outcomes meet approved requirements.
  • Assess change impacts and operational readiness for strategic initiatives, including procedures, controls, training, communications, support models, data or reporting needs, and post-implementation monitoring; coordinate handoffs to accountable owners.
  • Provide concise, audience-appropriate analysis and updates for leadership and project stakeholders, including scope and requirements status, key decisions, risks, dependencies, readiness, expected benefits, outcome measures, and recommendations.
  • It is the responsibility of this role to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
