Job Description: Assist our security certifications team in analyzing and modeling data collected from clients to prove the randomness of the data. Job Functions Analyze a given set of data and develop a heuristic model to describe the randomness of the data. Assist product vendors in using a tool to gather the required data. Provide a written, technical analysis of the data and mathematical model. Communicate effectively with security product vendors, testing facilities, personnel, and government authorities to address compliance gaps, testing queries and documentation comments. Remote work opportunities. Education Bachelor's degree in Statistical Math, Computer Engineering, or a comparable field. Required Skills and Experience In depth knowledge of statistical mathematics. Experience with creating mathematical models of data. Familiarity with software development. Strong written presentation skills - ability to articulate requirements in technical and non-technical terms to customers, peers and management. Ability to chart data visually for reporting purposes. Desired Skills and Experience Understanding of the theory of randomness Familiarity with NIST SP 800-90B Knowledge of processors and their internal functions
