Epic Certified Cogito Analyst - Remote - Northern California

Our client is seeking an Epic Cogito Analyst to support reporting and analytics initiatives related to clinical documentation processes, with a primary focus on reporting considerations surrounding documentation for deceased patients. This role will partner with clinical, operational, and technical teams to analyze workflows, develop reporting solutions, and ensure accurate data visibility across Epic applications.

Location: Remote-Monthly onsite travel require 3-6 days/month
Duration: 10 months

Hours: PST

• Epic Cogito certification is a must
• Epic Caboodle Development cert (CDW300v) is a big plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Epic reporting solutions to support documentation and compliance requirements
• Analyze reporting needs and build reports, dashboards, and data extracts using Reporting Workbench, Clarity, and SQL
• Collaborate with operational and clinical stakeholders to identify reporting opportunities and improve data accuracy
• Validate and troubleshoot reporting results, ensuring data integrity and consistency
• Provide recommendations for workflow and reporting enhancements related to patient documentation processes

Required Qualifications:

• Epic Cogito Certification
• Epic Cogito implementation experience
• Experience with Epic Reporting Workbench and Clarity
• Strong SQL development and data analysis skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions
• Experience working in healthcare IT and Epic environments

This position is ideal for an analytical Epic professional who can leverage Cogito tools and Clarity data to support critical reporting initiatives and operational decision-making.
