  • Establish or refine SmartForms build standards, naming conventions, documentation templates, and a repeatable intake-to-deployment process.
  • Partner with clinical stakeholders and operational leaders to translate requirements into efficient, user-friendly form design.
  • Prioritize and work through the SmartForms request backlog to improve delivery speed and throughput.
  • Support testing, validation, change control, and post-go-live issue resolution for delivered forms.

Requirements

  • Active Epic certification in at least one clinical or ancillary application.
  • Minimum 5 years of Epic build experience, with demonstrated expert-level SmartForms design and build.
  • Deep working knowledge of SmartData Elements, SmartForms design tools, SmartLinks, SmartTexts, SmartLists, and rules-based logic.
  • Proven experience training or guiding Epic analysts on build methodology.
  • Track record of delivering complex build quickly and accurately in a production environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clinical and technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pediatric or children's hospital Epic experience.
  • Experience with Clarity or Epic reporting of SmartForms data.
  • Experience building SmartForms across multiple Epic applications (e.g., ClinDoc, Ambulatory, Behavioral Health, Rehab).
  • Experience establishing build governance or standards for an Epic team.
