Epicor Kinetic Developer - Consultant

TEKsystems has a client seeking support both technical and some functional on their Kinetic Epicor ERP platform. Client runs all of the core modules and needs a blend of some development, production support and advisory around their current Epicor set up. Role can sit remote but would have some occasional travel to Denver.

Client is seeking a hands-on contract Epicor Kinetic Developer to design, build, and support extensions to our ERP in an FDA-regulated environment. Youll work closely with the existing IT team of developers, and partner directly with operations, quality, finance, and other business teams to turn business requirements into designs and coded solutions.

The organization currently relies heavily on one internal Epicor expert and has a significant backlog of enhancement projects.

The consultants will assist with Epicor development, Application Studio customization, business requirements gathering, troubleshooting, production support, and enhancement projects. Candidates will work directly with business users, IT leadership, and existing Epicor resources to understand and implement solutions.

In addition to hands-on development, the resources will evaluate the current Epicor environment and provide recommendations related to future upgrades and eventual migration to Epicor cloud. The ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, technical Epicor expertise, and the ability to function in a consultative capacity while remaining hands-on contributors.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze requirements with business stakeholders. Determine whether a need is best met by standard configuration, Application Studio, BPM, or a Function.

Build and maintain Application Studio layers, BPM directives, Epicor Functions, BAQs, dashboards, and reports.

Develop and support integrations using Epicors REST APIs.

Troubleshoot production issues using tracing and debugging tools.

Support Kinetic upgrades, including regression testing of customizations.

Produce documentation and test evidence that meets clients software validation and change control requirements.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on development in Epicor Kinetic or Epicor 10/ERP 10. Recent Kinetic browser-UI experience is strongly preferred.

Proficiency in C# and SQL.

Experience with REST APIs and integration patterns.

Familiarity with ITSM and ITIL.

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, application development, and system integration.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to communicate in English proficiently (speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension).

Implement and uphold best practices in code quality, security, and performance optimization.

Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to analyze requirements and deliver scalable software solutions.

Familiarity with source control techniques and tools (including Git).

Preferred Experience

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in an FDA-regulated or GxP environment (medical device, pharma, biologics), and familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 or CSV/CSA practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $110.00/hr.
