The future is borderless. Let's build it together. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior ESOPs Administrator to own and manage our employee stock ownership plan operations across multiple geographies. As a key member of the Finance organization, this role will be responsible for end-to-end ESOP administration, compliance, record-keeping, and employee education — ensuring a seamless equity experience for our global workforce. What you'll do ESOP grant administration & record-keeping Manage end-to-end administration of equity plans including stock options, RSUs, and other equity instruments across jurisdictions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee equity records, including grants, vesting schedules, exercises, forfeitures, and expirations. Process equity transactions accurately and in a timely manner in coordination with HR, Legal, and Finance teams. Own and manage the equity management platform (e.g., Carta, Shareworks, or equivalent) to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency. Coordinate with the cap table and legal teams to ensure grant documentation is complete, accurate, and executed in accordance with plan rules. Compliance & regulatory reporting Ensure compliance with applicable equity plan regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements across India and other relevant jurisdictions. Prepare and file required regulatory reports related to ESOP grants and exercises, including coordination with external legal and tax advisors. Manage tax withholding and reporting obligations related to equity compensation events (e.g., exercise, vesting, sale). Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and reconciliations related to equity plans. Stay current with regulatory changes impacting equity compensation in India and internationally, and proactively update processes accordingly. Employee communication & education Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries related to equity grants, vesting, exercises, and related tax implications. Develop and maintain clear, accessible communication materials and FAQs to help employees understand their equity awards. Conduct onboarding sessions and ongoing education for new and existing employees on equity plan mechanics and participation. Partner with HR and People teams to ensure equity-related communications are integrated into broader employee experience initiatives. Provide timely and accurate equity statements and transaction confirmations to employees. What we are looking for Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or CEP (Certified Equity Professional) would be an added advantage. 6–10 years of experience in equity or ESOP administration, preferably within a multinational or high-growth technology company. Strong working knowledge of equity compensation instruments including stock options, RSUs, SARs, and employee stock purchase plans. Hands-on experience with equity administration platforms such as Carta, Shareworks, Equity Edge, or similar tools. Solid understanding of Indian ESOP regulations (SEBI, FEMA, Income Tax Act) and exposure to international equity compliance frameworks. Strong grasp of equity-related tax implications, withholding obligations, and cross-border considerations. Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and reconciliation skills. Effective communicator with the ability to explain complex equity concepts to employees at all levels. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
