Your Role:

In this role, you will lead and sustain the organization's enterprise data storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and strict alignment with global IT standards. Your technical responsibilities and operational scope include:

• NAS Engineering & Lifecycle Management: Implement, configure, upgrade, and maintain mission-critical NAS infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, optimized throughput, and seamless storage operations.
• ITSM Governance & Delivery: Drive end-to-end delivery and technical documentation across core ITSM processes, including Capacity Planning, Availability, Performance Tuning, Lifecycle Management, Patching, Vulnerability Remediation, and Compliance Management.
• Data Protection & Business Continuity: Formulate, execute, and validate comprehensive Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, reinforcing storage-level security controls and risk mitigation protocols.
• Service Architecture & Implementation: Partner with architecture and engineering teams to ensure all new and existing services undergo rigorous technical design, capacity forecasting, validation, and controlled operational transition.
• Infrastructure Automation: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement automated, scalable workflows for storage provisioning and routine operational tasks using modern automation toolsets.
• Critical Incident Resolution: Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and resolution for complex, high-priority storage incidents, providing dependable on-call and emergency support outside standard business hours.

• Position Requirements & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Full availability and comfort working aligned with US Eastern Standard Time (EST) operational hours.
• Solid, proven hands-on administration experience across enterprise NAS and SAN environments, with an emphasis on NetApp and IBM SAN solutions.
• Deep technical understanding of storage protocols (NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI) and core NAS/SAN fabric architectures.
• Proven proficiency in IBM SVC, Brocade SAN Switches, NetApp NAS (ONTAP/CDOT), NetApp StorageGRID, and enterprise backup/restore ecosystems.
• Practical scripting and infrastructure automation skills, preferably utilizing Ansible.
• Working familiarity with public/hybrid cloud storage offerings, enterprise file-share platforms, and large-scale data migration tools.
• Advanced to fluent English communication skills (verbal and written) for daily collaboration and technical discussions.

Diferencials:

• Active technical certifications such as NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) or NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE).
• Conversational or professional working proficiency in Spanish.
• Advanced SAN storage administration experience in large multi-terabyte or petabyte enterprise deployments.
