We’re looking for a detail-driven Estimator who can analyse drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and geotechnical reports to produce accurate cost estimates. If you enjoy combining technical insight, commercial judgement, and supplier coordination to help projects move forward with confidence, this role is built for you.

Work Setup: Hybrid in the Makati/Pampanga office

Role Overview

As our Estimator, you’ll prepare accurate, competitive estimates for earthworks, civil works, and basement packages by reviewing construction drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and geotechnical reports. You’ll assess labour, materials, time, and project risks, coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders, and maintain reliable cost data to support informed tendering and project decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review Project Documentation: Gather and analyse proposals, blueprints, specifications, bills of quantities, structural, civil and architectural drawings, and geotechnical reports.

  • Prepare Detailed Take-Offs: Complete quantity take-offs for earthworks, including cut and fill and bulk excavation; civil works, including crushed rock, pavements and kerbs; and basement packages, including piling, capping beams and shotcrete walls.

  • Build Accurate Estimates: Identify labour, material, equipment, and time requirements, then calculate project costs using sound technical and commercial judgement.

  • Resolve Cost Discrepancies: Investigate gaps, inconsistencies, and missing information by collecting, validating, and analysing relevant project data.

  • Present Clear Submissions: Assemble numerical and descriptive information into professional estimates, tender documentation, and supporting reports.

  • Coordinate with Stakeholders: Maintain productive relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other organisations to obtain pricing and clarify project requirements.

  • Maintain Cost Data: Keep the estimating database accurate, current, and securely backed up to support reliable future pricing.

  • Strengthen Technical Knowledge: Stay current through industry workshops, technical publications, software updates, and continuous learning while supporting wider team priorities as needed.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with close attention to cost accuracy and project detail.

  • Practical experience with estimating software such as Mudshark.

  • Knowledge of Buildxact or similar construction estimating tools is highly regarded.

  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and word-processing software to prepare calculations, reports, and tender documentation.

  • Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and project requirements.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural, civil and architectural drawings, and geotechnical reports.

  • Ability to coordinate with stakeholders and work independently across multiple estimating priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  • A proactive approach, strong willingness to learn, and commitment to delivering accurate, dependable work.
