Profile Requirements: Demonstrated experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, preferably on similar project types Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and current market rates Ability to accurately read, interpret, and measure from architectural and engineering drawings Proficiency in estimating software, take-off tools, and Microsoft Excel High level of numerical accuracy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple estimates under tight deadlines Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline Core responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects across all stages, from early budgeting through to final tender submission Review and interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, specifications, and contract documentation to fully understand project scope Complete detailed quantity take-offs for materials, labour, plant, and subcontractor works Source, evaluate, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive and compliant pricing Identify potential project risks, cost variations, and opportunities for value engineering or cost savings Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams during pre-construction and handover phases Maintain accurate estimating records, cost databases, and pricing schedules for future reference Assist with tender submissions, post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and contract award processes Benefits: Competitive salary Opportunity to shape the HR function of a rapidly growing BPO.
