As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to help expand our presence in the South Texas market.

Position Overview

The Estimator is responsible for developing new business, building customer relationships, conducting site assessments, and preparing accurate estimates and proposals for crane, rigging, heavy haul, and related projects. This role works closely with customers and operations teams to ensure successful project planning and execution.

The ideal candidate has experience in industrial, commercial, mechanical, or construction environments and possesses a strong understanding of rigging operations, electrical systems, machinery installation, and project estimating.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, project managers, plant personnel, and key decision-makers.
• Conduct job walks, site visits, and project evaluations.
• Prepare accurate estimates, bids, and proposals.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and scope requirements.
• Coordinate with operations to develop project execution plans and pricing strategies.
• Manage project opportunities from initial contact through project award.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
• Maintain customer and project records within CRM systems.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Travel locally for customer meetings and site visits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of estimating, business development, sales, or project management experience.
• Experience in crane rental, rigging, heavy haul, industrial construction, transportation, or related industries preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of project costing and estimating principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
