Who We Are

FTI Consulting is the leading global expert firm for organizations facing crisis and transformation. We work with many of the world’s top multinational corporations, law firms, banks and private equity firms on their most important issues to deliver impact that makes a difference. From resolving disputes, navigating crises, managing risk and optimizing performance, our teams respond rapidly to dynamic and complex situations.

At FTI Consulting, you’ll work side-by side with leaders who have shaped history, helping solve the biggest challenges making headlines today. From day one, you’ll be an integral part of a focused team where you can make a real impact. You’ll be surrounded by an open, collaborative culture that embraces diversity, recognition, professional development and, most importantly, you.

Are you ready to make your impact?

About The Role

This is an entry-level consultant role for those who are about to or have recently graduated from their undergraduate or postgraduate studies. We are looking for motivated, analytical and highly numerate individuals from all academic backgrounds to join our market-leading team based in Stockholm, starting in September 2027.

In Economic & Financial Consulting, we provide expert advice on economics, finance, valuation and accountancy, both in complex commercial disputes and in industries undergoing regulatory change.

As part of our commitment to growth in the Nordic region, our Stockholm office serves as a key hub for everything we do across the Nordics and beyond. With more than a decade of experience in Sweden, we have built strong relationships and a solid reputation for solving complex challenges, ranging from disputes and investigations to valuations and infrastructure projects. We are eager to deepen our investment in the region by establishing and growing our physical presence in Sweden.

We are passionate about investing in local talent and making a real difference in Sweden's vibrant business community. When you join us, you'll become part of a supportive and dynamic team where your ideas and expertise will truly make an impact. You will work alongside leading experts and collaborate closely with colleagues based in London, contributing to projects across the United Kingdom and the broader European region.

We have significant expertise in the valuation of businesses, intellectual property, financial products, and other assets. We are the leading firm in the provision of expert evidence on valuation issues and the quantification of economic losses before courts and tribunals all around the world. We also provide valuation services for commercial, reporting, and regulatory purposes, for example, in the context of licensing, investment appraisal, fiscal valuation, and transfer pricing. Our practice leaders have a wealth of experience and are recognised experts in their fields.

Examples of questions our clients have asked us include:

· How much is the brand name of a Premier League football club worth?
· What would be a fair way to distribute money from streaming service royalties to music artists?
· Are the prices charged for a pharmaceutical drug excessive?
· What is the value of the shares in one of Europe’s largest supermarket chains?
· What are the lost profits that would have arisen under a failed hypercar distribution agreement?
· How do you value an early-stage clean energy company?
· What price would have been paid between joint venture partners in a multi-billion dollar business, had financial records and forecasts not been misrepresented?
· What were the implications of COVID-19 on oil prices and the value of assets?

If you are ready to be part of something exciting and want to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

As a Consultant you will have the opportunity to apply your intellect and skills to a diverse range of economic, valuation and business issues. You will play a key role in our projects, working in small teams to carry out industry, market, and quantitative analysis, and to report our findings in a clear, concise, and structured way. You will support our clients in their moments of truth.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial models, using Excel and financial databases such as Bloomberg and Capital IQ.

  • Using statistical software packages to perform econometric analysis of industry and market data.

  • Researching companies, markets or geographies to understand what industry features are relevant to the project.

  • Reviewing the regulatory landscape and drawing parallels with our client’s industry.

  • Summarising your work in emails or memos, clearly presenting your results and drawing relevant conclusions.

  • Taking responsibility for the quality of the final product.

  • Working in cross country projects with our team in London and Sweden.

  • Being an integral part of the team and working closely with our experts.

How You’ll Grow

We work on fascinating projects across many different industries and in situations that matter greatly to our clients.

We offer a competitive and attractive rewards package, a designated mentoring and buddy support system, excellent training and development, opportunities to work abroad, and a supportive and friendly environment that will help you to achieve your potential.

The skills and experience you will develop with us will stand you in good stead for the rest of your career. You will work directly with our experts, to learn from them, and to develop your skillset day by day.

You will attend our graduate induction days in London and meet many future colleagues amongst all other graduates in EMEA.

We will support you through a professional qualification to become either a Chartered Accountant (ACA) or a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). In addition, we have a comprehensive in-house learning and development program. As part of this, you’ll be assigned a dedicated coach to mentor, guide and support you through regular coaching sessions and to serve as an advocate for your professional growth.
