Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior ETL Tester with strong expertise in data warehouse testing, ETL validation, Salesforce, and Healthcare domain applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data integration pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and completeness, and supporting complex data migration and transformation initiatives involving Salesforce and healthcare systems.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with ETL testing tools, SQL, data validation, API testing, Salesforce data, and healthcare data workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive ETL and data validation test strategies.
• Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across source, staging, and target systems.
• Perform detailed source-to-target data validation using complex SQL queries.
• Test data mappings, transformations, business rules, aggregations, and data reconciliation.
• Validate integrations between Salesforce and downstream/upstream healthcare applications.
• Perform testing of Salesforce data objects, interfaces, APIs, and data migration processes.
• Validate data migration from legacy systems into Salesforce and other cloud platforms.
• Develop and execute SQL scripts for data comparison, reconciliation, and validation.
• Identify data quality issues, transformation defects, missing records, duplicates, and data integrity problems.
• Perform API and web-service testing using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, Salesforce teams, business analysts, and healthcare stakeholders.
• Analyze ETL failures and work with development teams to identify root causes.
• Validate data across relational databases, cloud platforms, data warehouses, and Salesforce.
• Support regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Create and maintain test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and defect documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Ensure testing activities comply with applicable healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Support production validation, data reconciliation, and post-deployment verification.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing or Data Quality Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with ETL testing and data validation.
• Excellent SQL skills, including complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, and data reconciliation.
• Strong experience with Salesforce testing, including Salesforce data objects and integrations.
• Experience testing Salesforce data migration and integration processes.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts including Extract, Transform, Load, mappings, workflows, transformations, and data lineage.
• Experience with one or more ETL technologies such as Informatica, Informatica Cloud/IICS, Talend, SSIS, or equivalent.
• Experience with API testing and REST/SOAP web services.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and QA methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
