Job Description
Support complex enterprise architectures by developing and implementing detailed design, configuration and engineering strategies/solutions for one or more technologies within assigned technical area of expertise. Ensure capability, flexibility, scalability, performance and reliability objectives are met or exceeded for a variety of small to mid-size projects. In collaboration with the team and vendor/contractor resources, ensure viable designs, flawless execution, and seamless transition into the production environment.Job Description Summary
Support complex End User Computing (EUC) environments by developing and implementing detailed designs, configurations, standards, and engineering solutions across endpoint management, browser management, and modern workplace technologies. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, governance, and ongoing support of Windows, macOS, mobile devices, enterprise browser platforms, Microsoft Intune, and AI-enabled workplace technologies, including Microsoft Copilot. The position partners with Security, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and supportable solutions that enhance user experience, improve operational efficiency, and meet compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Endpoint Engineering & Device Management
- Design, implement, and support endpoint management solutions across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Intune configurations, compliance policies, security baselines, application deployment standards, and device management strategies.
- Design and implement endpoint policies using modern management technologies and Group Policy where appropriate.
- Evaluate, test, and validate new configurations, technologies, and security controls prior to production deployment.
- Collaborate with application owners to ensure endpoint compatibility and a positive user experience.
Browser Engineering & Management
- Design, implement, and support enterprise browser management solutions for Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.
- Administer Microsoft Edge Management Service, including policy management, reporting, governance, and operational support.
- Configure and maintain browser security controls, extension governance, authentication settings, and enterprise browser standards.
- Evaluate browser releases, policy changes, and emerging capabilities for enterprise adoption.
- Partner with Security and Architecture teams to ensure browser platforms align with enterprise security and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex browser policy, authentication, compatibility, and configuration issues.
AI & Modern Workplace Technologies
- Support the implementation, governance, and operational readiness of Microsoft Copilot and other AI-enabled workplace technologies.
- Evaluate emerging workplace technologies and provide recommendations that improve productivity and employee experience.
- Partner with Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to establish appropriate controls and governance for AI-enabled solutions.
Governance, Compliance & Operations
- Create and maintain engineering standards, technical designs, operational documentation, and support procedures.
- Monitor policy compliance and effectiveness through reporting, analytics, and management platforms.
- Participate in governance forums, architecture reviews, and technology planning activities.
- Support Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Vulnerability Management processes.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions for recurring issues.
- Support audit and compliance activities through documentation and evidence collection.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 5-7 years of relevant engineering experience supporting enterprise endpoint technologies.
- Strong experience supporting Windows endpoint management in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Experience designing and implementing endpoint configuration, compliance, and security policies.
- Experience managing enterprise browser platforms, including Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, browser policy management, extension governance, and browser security controls.
- Experience with Microsoft Edge Management Service or similar enterprise browser management technologies.
- Experience supporting macOS and mobile device management platforms.
- Experience with PowerShell automation and scripting.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience working within ITIL-based operational processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI governance, or enterprise AI adoption initiatives.
- Experience implementing enterprise browser governance, security, and modernization initiatives.
- Experience with Windows Autopilot and modern device provisioning.
- Experience supporting iOS and Android device management.
- Experience implementing endpoint security baselines and compliance controls.
- Experience with endpoint analytics, Digital Employee Experience (DEX) solutions, and operational reporting.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender and endpoint security technologies.
- Microsoft certifications related to Endpoint Management, Microsoft 365, Security, or AI technologies.
Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $115,000 - 145,000. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
