About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded European eCommerce Executive to help drive the growth of our eCommerce business across Europe.
Reporting to the European eCommerce Manager, you’ll play a key role in bringing our eCommerce strategy to life, supporting day-to-day performance, identifying new growth opportunities and expanding our presence across European markets and online marketplaces.
Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and external partners, you’ll help optimise our online performance, support new product and customer launches, and turn commercial insights into action. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to multiple European markets, take ownership of key eCommerce activities and contribute to the continued growth of our digital business.
Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of the European eCommerce strategy, contributing to sales, profitability and growth targets.
- Manage day-to-day Amazon operations, including assortment, content, pricing, availability and promotions, acting as a key point of contact for Amazon stakeholders.
- Drive retail readiness, catalogue quality and digital shelf optimisation in collaboration with our eCommerce agency partner.
- Support pricing strategy, annual negotiations and the execution of agreed commercial plans.
- Analyse key eCommerce performance metrics, including sales, traffic, conversion, availability and Buy Box performance, translating insights into actionable improvements.
- Support eCommerce growth plans across priority European markets, including France, Germany and Spain.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance to improve product availability, resolve operational challenges and ensure smooth execution.
- Support forecasting, promotional planning, peak trading periods and new product launches to maximise commercial opportunities.
Experience you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in eCommerce, Sales, Marketing or a related commercial role, ideally within FMCG or a digital commerce environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with confidence using Excel and eCommerce performance data; experience with Amazon, ideally Vendor Central, or online marketplaces would be an advantage.
Behaviors you’ll need:
- Proactive and results-driven: A hands-on approach, taking ownership of tasks and identifying opportunities to improve performance.
- Analytical and organised: A structured, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and turn insights into action.
- Collaborative and curious: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and work effectively across different functions and European markets.
Please Note:
- This role is based in the UK, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
- We do not provide domestic or international relocation for this role.
- You will be required to work from the office 5 days a week during the 90 days. After this, the arrangement will transition to 4 days in the office and one day working from home each week.*
Inclusion & Diversity
We believe Inclusion and Diversity is more than a program. We embed inclusive practices in our day-to-day work, the way we relate to our colleagues, collaborate and make decisions.
We value the collective richness of the differences people bring to the organization, including style, personality, thoughts, race, ethnicity, culture, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, and disability – that enables all to bring their full contributions to the organization.
Better Together
At SC Johnson, we believe people achieve their best when they collaborate and work together in person. We value connection to strengthen teamwork, accelerate problem solving, and drive innovation.
