Seeking a contract Event Logistics Coordinator for an independent and fun lifestyle and character brand based in Los Angeles. Successful candidate will provide logistics and coordination in support of artist merchandise sales at expos, conventions, and live events. This is a project-based engagement structured around specific events or groups of events.
Scope of Work:
Identifying and evaluating relevant events aligned with general brand direction
Managing event applications, registrations, and vendor requirements
Coordinating event logistics (e.g., transportation, lodging, shipping, and booth-related needs)
Planning merchandise logistics, including inventory coordination and stock level planning
Coordinating shipment or transport of merchandise and equipment
Providing on-site logistical support at events, as needed, including coordination with other service providers
Supporting sales operations through logistics coordination (not as a supervised sales role)
Tracking and organizing event-related data such as sales, expenses, and inventory for reporting purposes
Communicating with event organizers, vendors, and venues to facilitate participation
Addressing logistical issues
Delivering post-event summaries, reports, or insights as defined in the project scope
Qualifications:
Experience: coordinating events, including corporate events, conferences, or live productions a plus
Project Management Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and vendors simultaneously.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong planning, scheduling, and documentation abilities.
Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and adapt quickly under pressure.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in event management software, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools
Transportation & Setup Knowledge: Understanding of shipping, staging, and on-site logistics a plus
Flexibility: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for events.
Self-motivated, and able to manage responsibilities independently.
