BangoPure Limited is a UK-registered circular economy company committed to transforming waste into certified, traceable, and tradeable materials. As we grow our events and engagement programmes across the UK and Ireland, we are looking for an experienced and highly organised Event Manager to plan and deliver world-class events that bring together delegates, speakers, partners, and stakeholders from across the circular economy ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

● Identify, negotiate, and secure suitable venues for BangoPure events across the UK and Ireland.

● Own end-to-end event planning and delivery, from concept through to on-the-day execution and post-event wrap-up.

● Manage all event documentation, including contracts, run sheets, risk assessments, and supplier agreements.

● Coordinate registration, invitations, and communications for delegates, speakers, and attendees.

● Oversee visa and travel documentation for international delegates and speakers, working closely with the Logistics & Visa Support function to ensure UK Standard Visitor Visa and Irish Short-Stay Visa requirements are met.

● Arrange transport, accommodation, and logistics for speakers, delegates, and BangoPure staff attending events.

● Manage event budgets, supplier quotes, and cost tracking to ensure events are delivered on budget.

● Develop and execute outreach and promotion strategies to drive attendance and engagement, including via email, social media, and partner networks.

● Build and maintain relationships with venues, vendors, sponsors, and external partners.

● Coordinate with Marketing and External Affairs teams to ensure consistent event branding and messaging.

● Manage on-site event operations, including registration desks, AV/technical setup, catering, and delegate support.

● Maintain accurate records of attendee data, feedback, and post-event reporting in line with GDPR requirements.

● Troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues quickly and calmly under time pressure.

Must-Have Qualifications

● Minimum 3+ years of experience in event management, conference production, or a similar delivery-focused role.

● Proven experience securing venues and managing supplier and vendor relationships.

● Experience organising events across the UK and/or Ireland, including familiarity with regional venues and logistics.

● Strong understanding of visa and travel documentation requirements for international attendees, or a proven ability to work closely with visa specialists.

● Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable liaising with delegates, vendors, and senior stakeholders.

● Experience running outreach and promotional campaigns to drive event attendance.

● Ability to travel within the UK and Ireland as required for site visits and event delivery.

● Ability to work independently within a fully remote international team.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

● Experience with UK Standard Visitor Visa and/or Irish Short-Stay Visa invitation letter processes.

● Familiarity with event management and registration platforms (e.g. Eventbrite, Cvent, or similar).

● Experience marketing or promoting events across LinkedIn, email, and industry networks.

● Background in sustainability, circular economy, or related sectors.

● Experience managing hybrid or multi-city events.
