The Events & Communication Coordinator is responsible for providing operational support for EMEA internal and external communications, trade shows, customer events and country events such as factory visits, customer events. The role helps ensure that communication and event activities are planned accurately, delivered consistently and followed up effectively, while working closely with the Communication and Events Manager EMEA.

What you will do:

  • Support the planning and delivery of internal and external communication activities across EMEA, following the Communication and Events Manager’s annual plan and priorities.
  • Draft, adapt and coordinate communication materials including internal news, newsletters, customer communication, event invitations, social media copy for internal DRiV platforms, presentations and post event follow up.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day administration of communication calendars, approval trackers, distribution lists, media lists, asset libraries and shared communication platforms.
  • Collects and monitors publications of content (clippings) and reports of publications
  • Support country teams with localization, translation coordination and correct use of approved communication templates, brand assets and messaging.
  • Provide operational support for EMEA trade shows, customer events, internal meetings and country events, including project plans, supplier communication, attendee lists, invitations, logistics, materials, shipment follow up and on-site preparation.
  • Coordinate event deliverables such as events materials, product displays, collateral, gifts, signage, photography, video and post event documentation, working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the Event & Communication manager in managing the central stock of show materials, making sure all items are used and returned in the countries and correctly inventoried, including making sure usage of the right materials is happening across the different events in the region;
  • Support media and PR administration by maintaining contact lists, preparing distribution materials, tracking coverage inputs and coordinating approval and publication workflows.
  • Collect content, photos, event feedback and participation data to support communication reporting, event recaps and continuous improvement.
  • Support budget and purchase request processes for communication and events, including quotations, vendor records, approvals and invoice tracking.
  • Support with internal initiatives such employees events and activities organized for internal employer branding,
  • Ensure that communications and events are delivered consistently with brand standards, company policies, finance processes, data requirements and approval workflows.
  • Escalate operational risks, timing issues and resource constraints early to the Communication and Events Manager.

What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing, Events, Business or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
  • Experience in communication coordination, events, PR support, marketing operations or customer facing B2B marketing. Automotive aftermarket or industrial B2B experience is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating multiple communication deliverables, events or trade shows with different internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Strong writing, organization and follow up skills, with close attention to detail, tone of voice and brand consistency.
  • Good command of MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook; experience with project management, newsletter, content or social media platforms is an advantage.
  • Experience with purchase requests, supplier coordination, event logistics, travel or invoice follow up is an advantage.
  • Fluent English is essential. French and German are preferred additional languages and a strong advantage but not required.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for internal meetings, trade shows, events and cross-regional projects.
