Events & Marketing Specialist

The energy transition doesn't happen behind a screen alone. It happens on trade show floors in Essen, at client events in Utrecht and in conversations over coffee at conferences. As our Event & Marketing Specialist, you make sure Eddy Grid shows up there, and shows up well.

Eddy Grid is a Dutch energy technology company building the software and expertise that make renewable energy pay off. We optimise batteries, solar parks and wind turbines, unlock flexibility markets and help grid connections do more. With around 60 people, we work across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, and we're growing fast.

You join our marketing team, report to Antonia and work closely with Jorgo, who focuses on brand, positioning and content. Your role has two parts. First, you own our in-person events: trade shows, conferences and our own client events, from first idea to last follow-up. Second, you are the team’s go-to for ad-hoc marketing projects and sales enablement, making sure our sales team has what it needs to win.

What you'll do

Events

• Plan, organise and run our presence at trade shows and conferences across Europe

• Create and host our own private client events, from concept and venue to programme and guest experience

• Work with stand builders, trade show and conference organisers

• Brief and coordinate colleagues who represent Eddy Grid at events

• Drive invitations, registrations and lead follow-up together with sales, using HubSpot

• Measure what each event delivers and use it to choose the next ones

Marketing projects

• Pick up ad-hoc marketing projects, from campaigns and client gifts to content and merchandise

• Support the team with lead enrichment, LinkedIn content, email campaigns and website updates

What you will bring

• At least 3 years of work experience

• Hands-on experience organising business events, such as trade shows, conferences or client events

• Energy to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you build things from scratch

• Hands-on experience with online marketing, such as email campaigns, LinkedIn content and website updates

• Fluent English; Dutch is a strong plus

• A bachelor's degree

• Interest in energy and tech
