WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

At SimCorp, effective leadership depends on strong operational support and seamless coordination. As a Senior Executive Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth execution of executive activities, enabling leaders to focus on strategic priorities while maintaining efficient day-to-day operations.

Working closely with senior leaders, administrative colleagues, and stakeholders across the business, you will coordinate schedules, manage communications, support business planning activities, and help ensure operational excellence across a wide range of administrative processes.

Success in this role means creating a well-organized and efficient working environment, providing high-quality support to executives, and helping teams work effectively through strong coordination, communication, and attention to detail.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

In your daily work, you will collaborate with leaders and colleagues across the organization to:

  • Manage executive calendars, coordinate meetings, and ensure timely preparation of materials that support effective decision-making.
  • Support executive operations through proactive scheduling, meeting planning, follow-up activities, and day-to-day administrative coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, presentations, and executive summaries, and oversee the organization of critical business documentation.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling communications and ensuring information is routed effectively and professionally.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, itineraries, and logistics for executives and leadership teams.
  • Support the planning and execution of meetings, workshops, leadership events, team activities, and business forums.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Support operational reporting activities and the preparation of business updates, status reports, and presentation materials.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of administrative processes and day-to-day team operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and recommend enhancements that increase efficiency and consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Administration and other business functions to ensure alignment and operational effectiveness.
  • Assist with documenting, maintaining, and updating administrative procedures and ways of working.

WHAT WE VALUE

Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest:

  • Experience supporting senior leaders, executives, or management teams in an administrative, coordination, or executive assistant capacity.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, schedules, and deadlines while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, travel arrangements, and business logistics.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with stakeholders across different levels of an organization.
  • Experience preparing reports, presentations, executive communications, or business documentation.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Familiarity with administrative processes, operational coordination, and business support activities.
  • Experience working collaboratively across teams and functions to ensure efficient execution of activities and priorities.
  • Interest in identifying process improvements and supporting continuous operational excellence.
  • Curiosity to learn new tools, processes, and ways of working that enhance organizational effectiveness.
